Getting to know Miranda Alexander

The provider is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern" in the state of Florida. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern as well as a National Certified Counselor. I am also a Postpartum/ Prenatal/ Birth Doula. I have experience providing counseling services to a variety of individuals, particularly adolescents, in various settings within the community and in schools. I have training in trauma-informed care and utilizes a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling in an effort to foster hope, healing and resilience. I have over 4 years of experience providing counseling and doula services. . I have assisted in developing new programs with in my school at Barry University, collaborated and served on multiple interdisciplinary teams. I have assisted in developing and providing insight to the G.R.O.W Doula program in Florida. I truly enjoys helping others.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy helping others while using strength-based approaches and integrating various treatment therapies to best meet the needs and goals of my Clients. I also am a postpartum and prenatal birth doula for the community. I provide services to Spanish speaks as well. I provide emotional support and guidance to all clients.
