Are you finding yourself caught between who you are and who others expect you to be? Do you feel overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, self-doubt, or perfectionism that make it hard to feel grounded? Do your inner messages sound like, “I’m falling behind… I should have it all together… I don’t even know who I’m supposed to be”? Are you navigating big transitions around identity, relationships, or career and longing for a space where you can slow down and truly be seen? If you’re feeling disconnected from yourself or unsure of your next step, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I work primarily with young adults in New York City and Brooklyn who are exploring who they’re becoming while wrestling with anxiety, depression, self-worth, identity questions, or the pressure to appear “fine” on the outside. Many of my clients come in because they want to feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected to their authentic selves — but aren’t sure how to get there. Together, we look at what’s getting in the way, honor the complexity of your experiences, and begin building a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

Many of my clients come in because they want to feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected to their authentic selves — but aren’t sure how to get there. What should a new client know about working with you?

I hold a BFA in Theatre and an MA in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. My background in the arts has instilled in me a creative, intuitive, and relational approach to therapy — one that values your story, your voice, and the unique texture of your experiences. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand how profoundly identity and culture influence our mental health, and I’m committed to offering an affirming, inclusive space for clients of all genders, sexualities, religions, and backgrounds. I was drawn to this work because I’ve seen how transformative it can be to have someone truly listen, believe in you, and help you make sense of your story. Therapy is a courageous step toward understanding yourself more fully. Together, we’ll build a therapeutic relationship rooted in compassion, authenticity, and acceptance — and walk forward at your pace toward a life that feels more open, grounded, and deeply yours.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In my work, I draw mainly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy, all filtered through a holistic, client-centered lens. This means we’ll explore both the practical tools that help you manage anxiety and negative self-talk and the deeper emotional patterns and stories that shape how you move through the world. Our sessions are collaborative and tailored to you — your goals, your pace, your lived experience. You can expect curiosity, warmth, and a deeply human connection as we explore your emotions, relationships, communication patterns, values, and evolving sense of identity.
