Getting to know Mirel Baumgarten

I provide in-person therapy to people in South Florida. I use a mix of modalities, but my focus and passion lie in relationships and understanding them through family systems. A little unconventional, I like to combine therapy with coaching to maximize support for my clients and achieve my goal of short-term therapy. I know therapy can be taxing in many ways, and I am passionate about helping people in a shorter time frame. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Yeshiva University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support my clients effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I prioritize genuine, straightforward, and friendly interactions. The modalities I use are a mix of psychoeducation, coaching, and therapy to offer comprehensive support for my clients' needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Building strong connections is at the core of my approach. Once we've built that foundation, my passion is to delve into the challenges you face and work together with you using positive, solution-oriented methods to create meaningful transformations.
