Getting to know Miriam Klein
Are you a woman struggling with low self-esteem and setting boundaries in relationships? Do you often feel overwhelmed by your life? Do your daily commitments feel like too much to handle? If so, your nervous system may be stuck in "fight or flight mode." This can happen for many reasons, one of which might be childhood trauma. It's also possible that you are going through a stressful time that feels too difficult to manage.
I am an IFS and EMDR-trained practitioner, and both of these modalities can be helpful in healing trauma. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Touro College and University System, which has equipped me with the skills to support you through these challenges.
What should a new client know about working with you?
The therapeutic relationship is a very important part of the healing process, and I strive to create a warm and healing environment for my clients . I look forward to helping you uncover your authentic self. I am located in Aventura, Florida and offer both in person and Telehealth sessions. I do not take insurance at this time. Please do not schedule an appointment before looking at my out of pocket fee.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I can help you learn how to trust yourself again by teaching you to pay attention to your nervous system . I can teach you how to listen to your body so that you can begin to make decisions based on what YOU need rather then what you think other people want or expect from you.

Miriam is a fantastic therapist and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for guidance through tough situations or trauma from the past.
