As your therapist, my role will be to facilitate change in areas you want to see improvement by providing a safe and friendly environment where you feel free to be you. The real raw version of yourself. I take the time to be a person with you, so you feel comfortable being a person with me. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible while we work together. Each session, my goal is to have you feel truly heard, hopeful, & with a sense of direction in your struggles. I use a variety of validating approaches that empower and motivate you in the therapeutic process. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Motivational Interviewing techniques, and Person-Centered Therapy. I have experience helping individuals with life adjustments, stress, ADHD, Autism, trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression, as well as postpartum anxiety and depression. I have experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings. To me this job equals hope. It shows that I still have hope in the faith of individuals and humanity to innately want to do, be and feel better. If we all take care of ourselves, we can better take care of one another. My focus I have discovered that my approach often meshes well with issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, Issues, ADHD, Anger Management, Body Positivity, Career Counseling, Coping Skills, Divorce, Family Conflict, Grief, Infertility, Marital and Premarital, Parenting, Peer Relationships, Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum, Relationship Issues, School Issues, Self-Esteem, Sleep or Insomnia, Stress, Trauma, PTSD, Weight Loss, Women's Issues, Mental Health, and Thinking Disorders. My communication style I believe in a person-centered approach and that each client is an expert on themselves. While they may not trust their own expertise when they find me as a provider, I hope that through our time and collaboration, to will grow that trust and confidence in themselves.
