“I can't say enough good things about Missy. She is kind, compassionate, invested, warm, and honest. She gives you more things to think about and truly knows how to help you dig deeper into what is going on. She is helping navigate my grief, self-worth, and identity outside of a caretaker(wife, mom, sister, daughter) all at the same time. I always feel lighter and better after our sessions, she feels more like a friend by the end of it. I'm blessed and thankful to have found her to help me.”

Getting to know Missy Graehler

It's okay to not be okay, and I am so proud of you for putting in the research to find a therapist who is a good fit for you. A little bit about myself: I was raised in Lexington, KY, and after living in Western Kentucky for 11 years, I have returned home to my roots. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Master's in Social Work and have worked as a psychotherapist in community mental health, private practice, and assisted care facilities. I would describe myself as quirky, direct, and compassionate. I am a mom of two boys who are my absolute world and the reason for transitioning to online therapy (starting September 7). I absolutely love my job and love working with people to improve their mental health and overall quality of life. You deserve to be heard, believed, and encouraged. Giving therapy a shot can feel intimidating but also life-changing, and if you're still reading this, I hope that you will consider booking an appointment with yours truly :)

What should a new client know about working with you?

To feel validated and empowered. To be heard and respected. To feel hopeful for healing and growth. To know that your story is deserving to be heard and that you matter. To learn how to regulate your emotions and deal with life challenges. To know your intrinsic worth and value which is not connected to your abilities or productivity. You are worthy of kindness, goodness, and love most especially from yourself.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
