I believe every individual is unique; therefore, I use a person-centered approach in working with my clients. I work directly with you to identify your strengths and needs to determine your treatment goals. I aim to help you overcome obstacles and discover or rediscover your passion for life. Depression, anxiety, and other stressors do not have to determine the outcome of your life. You don't have to travel this journey alone?you just have to decide that now is your time to live, breathe, and be the best you! I hold a Bachelor's degree and an MEd in Community Counseling from Georgia Southern University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your path to wellness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with you to assist you in overcoming barriers standing in your way of achieving your goals. I will assist you in becoming self aware and awakening your inner desires and uncovering your passion and purpose in life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At your initial session we complete an assessment. I will ask you questions pertaining to your concerns/symptoms. I will explore specific details of the concerns you present with and a diagnosis will be formulated. We also discuss your goals, my therapy style and your learning style. Together we'll make a decision to determine if my therapeutic style may work for you. As we move into your individual sessions the structure and style of therapeutic modalities used will be based on your present needs and learning style. We are each unique therefore i use an integrative approach as no one approach fits everyone.
