Getting to know Misty Midkiff

Hi, I’m Misty, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker committed to helping people find relief, balance, and renewed direction in their lives. My work centers on supporting individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and grief. Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of settings, including hospitals, addiction recovery programs, community agencies, and mental health clinics. These experiences have shaped my belief that everyone has the capacity to heal when given the right tools and environment. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR to help clients process difficult experiences and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, which means I tailor therapy to fit each person’s unique history, strengths, and goals. You can expect a collaborative process where your voice and experiences guide the direction of our work together. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, explore what is holding you back, and begin to move forward with clarity. Whether you are processing past trauma or learning to manage everyday stress, I am here to help you create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
