Hi there, I'm Mo! Whether you're going through a life transition, conflict in a relationship, caregiver fatigue, child/parent conflict, or struggling to find connection and meaning in your life, therapy can be a life-changing support. Wherever you are right now, you don't have to stay there or do it alone. I provide an empowering, individualized approach to your sessions and offer a safe space to navigate meaningful change in your life. Every day is an opportunity for personal growth, and therapy can be a wonderful catalyst. Welcome-I am so glad you are here. Let me introduce myself: my name is Mo Paylen. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and have over 10 years of experience as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. My experience primarily involves working with youth aged 14 and older, as well as adults. I also enjoy supporting individuals experiencing crisis situations and parents facing various challenges such as parent/child conflict, parenting a child with special needs, and caregiver burnout. I am a completely virtual therapist, with appointments offered on evenings and some weekends. Summer months are much more flexible. My approach I utilize an eclectic, person-centered, and holistic approach tailored to your individual needs. Some of the modalities I use include trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and strengths-based techniques. My goal is to guide you toward discovering love and acceptance of yourself. Together, we will adapt to new life circumstances and reestablish boundaries that make sense for you. We will create an individualized treatment plan so you can live more fully and intentionally. My communication style I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and empathetic space where real vulnerability and change can be fostered. I meet clients where they are and build from there.
