Getting to know Molly Carlock

Hey there! My name is Molly, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. I believe that a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship is essential for progress, which is why I aim to be the approachable and compassionate therapist you can feel comfortable opening up to. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from West Chester University. I completed my Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, followed by my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) in 2015. Throughout my career, I have gained diverse experience working with various populations in settings including outpatient counseling, hospitals, and the emergency room. In these environments, I’ve provided assessments, level of care determinations, and referrals for patients dealing with acute psychiatric and substance use disorders. With several years of experience in both inpatient and emergency hospital settings, I am confident that we can work together to address and process whatever challenges you may be facing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first couple sessions will allow me the opportunity to get to know you and to understand your motivations for seeking therapy. You can expect our sessions to be a safe space to unpack your thoughts, feelings and troubles. Together we will identify focus areas and set attainable goals to help you create a life that you are not only living but thriving!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
