What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that our early relationships and experiences lay the foundation of how we view ourselves and relate to others. When you experience emotional neglect or relational trauma, it can be challenging to have a positive self-view. The therapeutic relationship invites you to mend relational wounds by learning how to understand and meet your own emotional needs. I primarily work with young adults and adults who are navigating interpersonal difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. My clients tend to be their own worst critics so I help them reframe the negativities they see within themselves so they can begin living more self-fulfilling lives. What is your typical process for working with clients?

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, out of alignment, or constrained by others expectations, but I am here to show you that you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we will create a space where you can speak freely, gain a new perspective, and feel supported as we navigate the challenges you are facing. I believe therapy should be a validating and empowering experience, so we will work to harness your strengths, develop self-compassion, and work towards creating a life that fulfills you.
