Molly Martin, LPC

Psychotherapist
315 W Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA
I believe therapy is an opportunity to better understand ourselves, recognize patterns that no longer serve us, and create meaningful change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I take a warm, collaborative approach to helping clients navigate difficult experiences and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I began working in the mental healthcare field and have experience in PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. My clinical interests include trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and challenges related to emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships. I take a trauma-informed, individualized approach to treatment, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and parts work, alongside mindfulness- and somatic-based approaches. I tailor my approach to each client's needs and goals. I welcome people of every gender, race, ethnicity, and background.
