Do you feel overwhelmed by the expectations of the world? Do you worry about what the future holds? Are you struggling with feeling hopeless or directionless? Living in our current societal context can be incredibly hard, especially when you are already carrying the weight of your lived experiences. The good news is you are not alone. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland and work to empower clients to evaluate their context within their systems, explore and understand their feelings and desires, and support them as they work toward creating the lives they are passionate about living. I highly value engaging with all aspects of a person's life in the therapy room to provide holistic care to the whole person in their systemic context. I view therapy as a partnership and am willing to get creative with how we approach your problems. You deserve to give yourself space to heal and grow, and to take charge of what you can control in this unpredictable world we live in!

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first session, you can expect me to ask a lot of questions. I want to get to know you and understand why you want to talk to a therapist. I also want to make sure I answer any questions you have. Once we get to know each other, we will begin to explore goals you have for yourself, how you conceptualize the challenges you want to address, and your expectations for therapy. As we continue our work together, you can expect that I will check in regularly about how things are working for you. I value client feedback immensely. We will periodically check in about your perception about your progress towards your goals, and will explore various therapeutic methods to find techniques that work for you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
