Hello, I'm Monica. My own process has taken me through many hills and valleys. Along the way, I have learned that life is what we make it. While we are subject to the impact of our childhood experiences and our socio-economic situation, we do not have to be limited by them. We can create the job, the relationship, physical health, and intrapersonal dynamics within ourselves that are supportive, life-enhancing, and filled with joy. My career as a therapist has been deeply connected to my own healing process. I have realized, through working with myself as well as others, the interplay between our mental, emotional, and physical health, and how important it is that we address all aspects of ourselves to initiate the optimal level of health. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1996, a massage therapist, an energy healer, and a certified Breathwork facilitator, I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups to remove the blockages to being able to engage in satisfying relationships, to improve health, and to more fully participate in life, while creating a greater sense of fulfillment and happiness. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, family and intimate relationships, life transitions, PTSD, spirituality, stress, and trauma. Through online, individualized sessions, I offer a synthesis of cognitive, psychotherapeutic, and spiritual tools to facilitate integration and enhance success.
