Monica Hernandez, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hello, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. I have been practicing for 10 years. I aspire to support, empower, and strengthen those who seek mental health support. Together, I'd like to empower you to build your own skill set-to take from our sessions and apply skills to your everyday life. I have supported clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I believe in and utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. Each session will be client-driven; you will take the lead in deciding what goals you'd like to work on with my support as we work through these challenges. At the start of each session, we'll check in on your current well-being, review your goals, progress, and barriers before diving into the next agenda. Each session, you'll take something to explore and incorporate into your life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
