I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Indiana University Bloomington. I believe people inherently have the tools to lead successful, fulfilling lives, but those tools can sometimes be temporarily inaccessible due to emotional, situational, and cognitive influences. My goal is to guide you through identifying these influences and working diligently to overcome them. With over eight years of experience in private practice, community mental health, secured residential, and correctional settings, I specialize in helping individuals who struggle to cope with intense emotions such as depression, anxiety, and anger. These emotions often contribute to behavioral and situational challenges, including substance use, self-harm, suicidal ideation, aggression, family conflict, and professional stress. I also have experience supporting individuals working to overcome the effects of traumatic experiences.
