Hi! My name is Monica. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey to healing. My approach to counseling is to provide encouragement, positivity, and support to help you develop the tools, education, and strength necessary to move forward through life's biggest challenges. It is very important to me to understand your challenges in an unbiased, non-judgmental, supportive, and empathetic way.
I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2012. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in General Education. I then earned a dual master's degree in Mental Health and School Counseling from Webster University.

Monica is very kind, and friendly. She is herself, and very open minded. She does help my confidence, and has helped me with my trauma. And i just had a few sessions so far!

She has been my biggest supporter. I really cannot say enough about how amazing she is. She has really, in only a few sessions, changed the way I view my life and the world. I have tried therapy before and it never really worked for me. Not only does she care about my mental wellbeing but my physical health as well. She is empathetic, supportive, caring & more. I hope that she is able to see this and knows the impact she makes on the world every day is monumental even in the moments it feels otherwise. This is a true match and I am forever grateful for Monica. She is a true gem.
