Hello there, I am looking forward to working with you. I received my Bachelor's degree from Universidad del Norte and my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am an active member of Psy Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. I have several years of experience working with a diverse population with severe mental illness. My theoretical stance is existential. I conceive of human beings as creators of their own human nature and responsible for our choices. Change is possible through consciousness. We choose our actions, and therefore we can provide a new meaning to our reality.

This provider is very compassionate and shows that she really wants to help me. She not only listens but she actively tries to give me tools deal with all the issues and "demons" I have. After each session, I think a lot about what we talk and I really like that.
