I believe in the transformative power of change. Change is an ever-present force, sometimes arriving unannounced, yet it holds the key to our freedom and authenticity. As we navigate life's unexpected challenges and transitions, I offer myself as a compassionate companion on your journey toward self-discovery and personal growth. I am passionate about working with individuals and groups using a therapeutic approach that emphasizes authenticity, genuineness, transparency, and a focus on mind-body connections. I incorporate parts work into our sessions, recognizing that our inner selves are composed of various facets, each with its own unique needs and perspectives. Through this approach, we can explore and integrate these parts to achieve a more balanced and harmonious self. In my clinical experience, I have worked with individuals and groups addressing depression, anxiety disorders, grief, self-harm, anger and stress management, suicidal ideation and behavior, trauma, life changes, relationship issues, and immigration- or moving-related adjustment challenges. I hold a Master's in Counseling and a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision from Adler University, which have deepened my understanding and skills in providing effective, culturally sensitive care. I believe in every person's uniqueness and authenticity. Therefore, my philosophical and treatment approaches overlap here, encompassing attentiveness to individuals' experiences, lifestyles, cultural backgrounds, and the stories YOU are telling. All of this and more is taken into consideration during the therapeutic journey we may embark on together. I believe that only through exploration do we come to know ourselves in ways we could never have expected.
