Monique Chhabra, LMFTA

WA
Greetings! My name is Monique Chhabra. I prioritize providing a safe and healing space for you to process life’s challenges and stressors. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to explore obstacles keeping you from deeper well-being, emotional health, and fulfillment. My specialties include supporting individuals through life transitions, marital and relationship issues including infidelity, self-esteem and self-worth, family dynamics, grief and loss, emotional literacy and regulation, communication skills, people-pleasing, and the parenthood versus childfree versus childless transition. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, equipping me to support individuals and families through complex emotional and relational challenges. I believe each person is an expert on their own life, and sometimes it helps to have a trusted individual step into your life with you. I care deeply about your story, and in therapy, we dive into your world so you can reconnect with yourself, untangle knots impeding your emotional health, and move through life aligned with your integrity, values, and self-worth. I am here to walk through your life with you—in your brokenness, healing, strength, and wholeness. I am a child of immigrants and of Indian descent. Born and raised in the U.S., I have always straddled two worlds—my ethnic background and culture and my American background and culture—both near and dear to my heart. I hold both American and Indian values, which creates an interesting dynamic in how I navigate the world. I believe that through crisis, trauma, and challenges, we are called to step into growth. I work to nurture my own self-awareness, resiliency, and strength to move through life’s crises and challenges.
