“Monique Little was an overall great therapist. She worked with me to create a list of therapeutic goals in which we could work together to reach them. She was compassionate, patient, and conscientious. She was an amazing and gentle guide through the emotional rollercoaster that is therapy, and I would recommend her to anyone.”

Getting to know Monique Little

Hello, I am a Mental Health Clinician looking to be of service where my skills can be most useful. Throughout my career thus far, I’ve encountered a plethora of disorders, emotionally difficult situations, and hardships. If nothing else, I recognize how difficult, beautiful, and nuanced the human experience can be. My experience and specialties have been addiction, abuse and its recovery—including physical, emotional, and social—PTSD, self-esteem, and personality disorders. I’ve spent significant time utilizing my services with military populations, disordered substance use, and emotional management issues such as anger, grief, shame, anxiety, and depression. My most recent specialty has focused on minority identities and the effects of what it means to navigate society in our current social climate. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. I am proficient and trained in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic and Behavioral Approaches, as well as others. If you are an individual, couple, or family that has experienced struggles or simply wants a more grounded existence, please seek professional partnership. I would love to be of assistance. Regardless of where you land in your journey toward self-improvement, I wish you all the best!
