Hello, my name is Monique, and I am a passionate therapist who is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals. I have experience working with a diverse population of clients facing mental health challenges and relationship issues. My background is in psychology and social work. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, in 2005. I later pursued a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University School of Psychology. These programs have provided me with the knowledge and clinical skills to effectively support my clients. I enjoy working with adults and helping them make meaningful improvements by identifying and managing barriers, as well as developing healthy coping skills. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy to provide comprehensive and individualized care. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel welcomed and understood. My communication style is open-minded and collaborative. My goal is to actively listen, provide constructive feedback, and support clients in making positive changes that promote overall wellness.
