Hello, I'm Monte. My therapeutic approach is informed by strength-based, client-centered, positive psychology, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. This means we’ll work together to identify tools that you can use to address your life’s stressors. Ultimately, I aim to help provide you with both practical short-term solutions as well as long-term personal growth. I have experience working with all kinds of people who have struggled with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Substance Use, Bipolar Disorder, relationship issues, and more. I have been described as warm and nonjudgmental, yet assertive and highly engaged. Our work will be an active collaboration. I believe we are all in recovery from something, whether that be from unhealthy coping mechanisms like self-harm, substance misuse, mental health struggles, trauma, neglect, homelessness, poverty, loneliness, and so much more.
