Getting to know Morgan Burgess

Hi, my name is Morgan. Do you ever feel that your life is nothing but a big puzzle and that some pieces are missing? You are not sure how to find those pieces. And if you do, you don't know where they fit. So you look for someone to help you find the fit. It's not always easy, but once completed, you feel whole. I was there once. At the age of 21, I decided to leave the U.S. and travel abroad for awhile. Then it was off to Central America. My eyes were wide open! I love to experience different cultures. And my curiosity for differences never went away. What I discovered more than anything is that we are all similar and not so different. A college professor and mentor told me about the field of social work. So I got my MSW and a new career was born. After years of working in the field and at various occupations, I decided to join the Federal Government and became a Clinical Social Worker for the Navy. After 14 years of government work, I went into private practice. Now I'm here and I love it! It isn't everyone who can love what they do and do what they love. I'm waiting to hear from you; excited to hear your story and maybe share a little bit of mine so we can connect and build a rapport. You are the center of this journey and it is a humbling experience for me to be a part of it. I look forward to hearing from you.
