Getting to know Morgan Hilsenrath

Welcome! You have taken the first step, which is often the most difficult: exploring therapists and reaching out. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially during what is likely a stressful time in your life. My approach to therapy is warm and welcoming. I believe meaningful work happens only when there is a mutually respectful relationship and a safe space for my clients, which is exactly what I strive to create. No matter how anxious or stressed you may feel, we will work through it together. No two clients are the same, so my treatment approach is never the same. My philosophy for psychotherapy draws from several different theories, tailoring each client’s treatment plan to their specific needs and goals. I specialize in anxiety, life challenges, relationship struggles, and more. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively. I would love to have a chat with you and see if we’re a good therapy match. My dog, Chelsea, may even make an appearance during our virtual sessions.

Morgan Hilsenroth contacted me via email and suggested we have a brief conversation to see whether we’d be a good fit to work together. We set a date and time and confirmed my phone number. She never called. I emailed her 15 minutes after the consult was to start to see if she was still available. No reply. I wrote her again 40 minutes after the consult was to start expressing disappointment that she was unable to make our appointment and wished her well. Again no response,
