“I've found my work with Morgan to be equally supportive and challenging. I feel seen and supported as a person and encouraged to grow and evolve to meet my personal goals. A strong therapist can hold space for you to share your most vulnerable self and also create a safe container for you to reflect on the areas of yourself and your life where you have room to grow and evolve. Therapy is not easy work, but it is necessary work and it is so much better when you have a clinician, like Morgan, who will both nourish and push you to move forward.”

Getting to know Morgan Peterson

Disclosure I am dedicated to serving my community by reserving my availability for those who navigate the world outside the dominant paradigm. If you identify with one or more of the following communities, this space is for you: LGBTQIA+, TGNC, or Gender Diverse Neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, etc.) Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM) or Polyamorous Living with a Disability Kink/BDSM My practice is exclusively for those who hold at least one of these marginalized identities. If you are a cisgender, heteronormative, monogamous, able-bodied, and neurotypical person or couple, I am not the therapist for you. I am intentionally preserving these spots for those whose lived experiences fall outside these standard structures. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a queer, trans, and polyamorous therapist with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. My journey began in 1992, and since then, I have worked across the clinical spectrum-from high-acuity crisis assessment in emergency departments to specialized non-profits serving the LGBTQIA+ and HIV communities. My practice is rooted in Feminist Psychotherapy, which means I view mental health through the lens of power distribution and systemic impact. I blend this with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients move toward a value-driven life. I provide a space where you don't have to "translate" your life or identity. As a member of the queer, trans, and poly communities, I offer the ease of lived experience. For my neuro-divergent clients, I offer 30+ years of dedicated, affirming clinical specialization. My goal is to let you stop being "the teacher" so you can finally just be the client.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
