Getting to know Morgan Pierce

I am a LMHC Lisenced Mental Health Counselor passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, and personal growth. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and have experience working in nonprofit, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and private practice settings. I specialize in working with adults and teenagers addressing relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma and family siues and communication issues. In addtion I treat ADHD, Autistic and neurodivergent clients, as well as LBGTQ clients experiencing high-functioning anxiety. My therapeutic approach is holistic, collaborative, and person-centered, recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I incorporate evidence-based practices, including Dialetual Behavioral Therapy DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT, mindfulness, and other modalities to help clients build self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should feel like a comfortable, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. My style is conversational, compassionate, and collaborative, and I value building genuine connections with my clients. I don't believe there's a one-size-fits-all approach to mental health, and I recognize that wellness looks different for everyone. I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns, and find balance in their everyday lives. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or simply wanting to grow, my goal is to meet you where you are while helping you feel more confident and empowered in where you're going. I believe meaningful progress often starts with learning to be where your feet are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

One of the most important parts of therapy is creating a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be yourself. In our first few sessions, I really focus on getting to know you, understanding your experiences, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. From there, we'll work together to identify goals and find an approach that works best for you. I don't believe therapy is one-size-fits-all, so I like to incorporate different techniques while considering your overall well-being. Throughout our time together, we'll focus on building self-awareness, recognizing patterns, and finding ways to navigate challenges in your everyday life. My goal is to meet you where you are, while also encouraging growth and helping you feel more confident in yourself and your ability to handle whatever life brings.
