UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I believe in a holistic perspective on wellness, blending skills from various modalities and often drawing on the Existentialist approach to therapy. Treatment with me considers the past but remains present-focused. My clients feel supported yet challenged to take responsibility for their own success. I use psycho-education and skills building to empower clients to support themselves outside of sessions and long after our work concludes. I invite all my clients to be collaborators in our work, taking an active role alongside me to support their well-being. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, which informs my integrative and client-centered approach.
