I work with clients to educate, empower, and develop their ability to confidently manage life's obstacles through solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and trauma-informed approaches. My goal is to help you feel more confident and capable in handling whatever comes your way.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ashford University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and Virginia, and I am approved for telehealth in South Carolina. My experience spans working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, active duty military, veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. Most recently, I served as a trauma counselor at Warriors Heart, an inpatient healing facility for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Substance Use Disorders, and at the Addiction Medicine Intensive Outpatient Program (AMIOP) on a military installation.
Throughout my career, I have provided mental health services in various settings, including individual, group, couples, and family formats in residential, outpatient, intensive in-home, and academic environments. I am dedicated to helping you find the strength and resilience within yourself to overcome life's hurdles.
