My path in this field began with an undergraduate degree from St. Francis University, followed by a master's degree from Indiana University, which I pursued as a returning adult student and parent of two young children. This personal experience has deeply enriched my understanding and empathy for the challenges my clients face. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in both the public and private sectors, helping clients navigate major life changes, mental health issues, and substance abuse—whether their own or that of a loved one. A significant portion of my work has been dedicated to promoting healing and wholeness, especially within the Veteran community, where I have focused on addressing periods of loss and instability. I believe in the power of therapy to foster resilience and personal growth. My approach is collaborative, and I am committed to coming alongside each client as they tackle their personal challenges and strive to achieve meaningful goals. Whether you're dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, family relationships, or any other issue, I am here to support you. On a personal note, I cherish spending time with my husband, adult children, and seven wonderful grandchildren, who range in age from 1 to 11. My cat, however, is not as enthusiastic about the grandchildren as I am! I also love to travel, especially to warm destinations near water.
