Getting to know Nabi De Angulo

Hello, dear one. I am here to co-create a sacred space with you where you can uncover your inner wisdom to release the burdens of early childhood trauma and tap into your inner healing energy to repair, restore, and transform your life. This is a space where you can tend to parts within you that may be stuck in rigid roles, terrified in fear, or lost in despair. Healing is a creative journey and it is available to all. I work with people who are longing to return home to their bodies, live in authentic relationships with one another, and live in a reciprocal and harmonious relationship with the land. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree from Eastern University, which inform my compassionate and holistic approach to healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

This process of inner work cannot be rushed. There is no magic-pill or immediate results when we seek to truly restore the extreme beliefs, emotions, sensations caused by early childhood trauma. In our sessions, we take our time, we approach with caution and respect to create the container to tap into your inner wisdom to lead a life authentically with confidence and peace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Together, we bring awareness to parts within you that need your attention. We use conscious movement, your breath, and the imagination to integrate traumatic experiences that may be impacting your inner peace. My offerings include Katonah-inspired yoga, Internal family systems-informed psychotherapy, plant medicine, and compassionate inquiry.

This was my first appointment but I am excited to see what's in store for the future. I have had past therapists that didn't get many results, but I already like Nabi's style and vibe. Nabi listened clearly to my concerns. I was anxious before the appointment, but she helped me to be at ease. I definitely recommend her.
