Psychotherapist
FL
Hi, I’m Nadia, a licensed therapist and anxiety specialist with over 15 years of experience helping high-achieving women who look like they have it all together—but feel overwhelmed, anxious, and constantly “on” underneath the surface. Many of the women I work with are successful, driven, and used to pushing through. They’re the ones others rely on. But internally, they’re dealing with overthinking, perfectionism, difficulty relaxing, and a constant pressure to do more or be better. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep functioning this way. My approach is practical, supportive, and rooted in evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. I focus on helping you understand the patterns driving your anxiety while also giving you real tools you can use in your everyday life. In our work together, we’ll focus on helping you: • Quiet the constant mental noise and overthinking • Reduce perfectionism and internal pressure • Regulate your emotions and feel more in control • Build healthier boundaries in work and relationships • Feel calmer, more confident, and more like yourself again Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you step out of patterns that no longer serve you and creating a way of living that actually feels sustainable. If you’re ready to feel less overwhelmed and more at ease in your life, I’d be honored to support you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. My goal is to make this process feel as comfortable, supportive, and productive as possible from the very beginning. I specialize in working with high-achieving women who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, and perfectionism. Many of my clients are used to being “the strong one,” and therapy is often the first place they can finally exhale and be honest about what’s really going on. My approach is both compassionate and practical. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’m engaged, direct when needed, and focused on helping you create real change. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, but I translate them into tools that actually make sense and fit into your daily life. Clients often tell me they appreciate that our sessions feel like a balance of: • A space to process and feel understood • Clear guidance and actionable tools • Honest conversations that help them see patterns more clearly I also believe therapy should feel collaborative. We’ll work together to understand what’s driving your anxiety and create a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your life—not overwhelming or rigid. Most importantly, you don’t have to come in with everything figured out. You just have to be willing to show up.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

1. Initial Session: Understanding You Our first session is all about getting a full picture of what’s been going on. We’ll talk through your current challenges, patterns you’ve noticed (like overthinking or perfectionism), and what you want to feel differently in your life. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and see if we’re a good fit. 2. Creating a Clear Plan After the initial session, we’ll begin identifying the patterns driving your anxiety and create a personalized plan. This often includes understanding thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors that are keeping you stuck—while also setting realistic, meaningful goals. 3. Building Skills + Creating Change In ongoing sessions, we focus on both insight and action. You’ll learn practical tools to: • Manage anxious thoughts and overthinking • Regulate your emotions and feel less reactive • Reduce perfectionism and internal pressure • Set boundaries and create more balance You’ll be able to apply these tools in real-life situations—not just in session. 4. Strengthening Confidence + Long-Term Change As we continue working together, the goal is for you to feel more in control, more confident in your decisions, and less overwhelmed in your day-to-day life. We’ll reinforce what’s working and adjust as needed so progress feels sustainable. 5. Flexible, Collaborative Approach Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum, then transition to biweekly as things improve. Throughout the process, therapy remains collaborative—we move at a pace that feels supportive, not overwhelming.
