She also worked with FIU’s CCF as a Counselor in their After-School Treatment Program, where she provided behavioral treatment to elementary-age children who have diagnoses of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Autism. She graduated from FIU's Mental Counseling Psychology with a Master of Science degree in July 2021. Outside of her work, Ms. Otalora is passionate about nutrition, practicing mindfulness and the importance of a good morning routine! She has been a Miamian since the age of 7 when she moved to the United States from Bogota, Colombia with her family. She is also a trained dancer and teaches Spectrum Dance Therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder on weekends. Ms. Otalora is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, providing services to patients in both languages, for in-person and Telehealth appointments.
