I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing stressors related to trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem issues. Additionally, I work with families to create strategies and develop new skills to help alleviate communication barriers. I began my career in mental health working with children and families in the foster care system who faced extensive trauma-related stressors. I have been trained in CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT and have experience supporting clients through crisis situations, including depression and suicidal ideation. I hold a Master's in Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa.
