I'm particularly drawn to people who are managing well on the outside but carrying more than they let on — and to parents, not just around strategies, but on the relationship itself, which is where real change tends to happen.I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, and psychodynamic approaches, adapting to what each person actually needs. I came to this work from corporate life, years living abroad, and becoming a mother, and that background shapes how I practice: with attention to context, culture, and the practical realities of people's lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I don't come with a fixed agenda. What we work on and how we work on it will be shaped by you, including your goals, your pace, what feels useful. I take seriously that change has to fit who you are to actually stick, so I spend time early on understanding not just what's hard, but how you think, what you value, and what you've already tried. I can be direct but never prescriptive, and I try to make the work feel as real and grounded as possible.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We start with a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit. From there, the first one to two sessions are about getting a fuller picture, what brings you in, your history, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. Once we have that foundation, we'll start to shape a direction together and adjust as we go.
