They may struggle with disturbed sleep, excessive worry, feeling overwhelmed, lack of motivation, trouble concentrating, and feeling under-appreciated. They are experiencing difficulties "juggling" their roles at home, work, and parenting responsibilities. They have expressed a desire to feel "normal" and "efficient," and to be a "good mother, spouse, and employee." The end goal is a reduction of anxiety and depression symptoms, returning to a normal level of function, practicing self-care, and enhancing time management skills. I specialize in women's issues, as well as depression and anxiety. While building trust, I will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your history, current stressors, and coping mechanisms. I will provide psychoeducation about anxiety and depression, helping you understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University. If you feel overwhelmed, burned out, and have difficulty with daily responsibilities, please schedule a consultation with me. Providing clients with a caring and safe space to explore their issues-where they feel supported, validated, and understood-catalyzes positive change.
