Getting to know Nancy Malwitz
I’m Nancy Malwitz, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping people reach their goals for growth and overcome the challenges that hold them back. Before becoming a counselor, I spent many years in retail management, where I learned a great deal about human behavior, conflict resolution, and mentoring others through life’s ups and downs.
I take a direct, open-minded, and creative approach to counseling- thinking outside the box to help each person find clarity and direction. My greatest strength lies in my ability to connect with others. With more than 60 years of life experience, I bring empathy and real-world understanding to my work.
Having faced my own struggles and learned from them, I understand how experiences from childhood can shape us as parents, partners, and individuals. I also recognize how trauma can influence our outlook, reactions, and long-term goals. My personal journey through dysfunction and healing gives me a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to grow and the knowledge that meaningful change is possible for everyone.
