Hi, welcome to my profile! I am Nancy Nicholson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Michigan and Florida, with a Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University. I enjoy working with people of all ages who are looking for some help along their journey in life. It is important to me to provide a safe, calming, and non-judgmental environment that allows clients to pursue their goals in a supportive space. I work to help clients identify their strengths and weaknesses, moving toward goals they may be struggling with. I enjoy encouraging others who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, as well as life transitions and changes. I have counseled many individuals for more than 20 years, across different age groups—from children to seniors—and with a variety of challenges, including life changes and transitions, chronic illness, disabilities, and grief and loss. Recently, I have been supporting those feeling anxious, depressed, isolated, and fearful, as many have since the beginning of the pandemic. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you through your journey!

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
