I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Keuka College and over 5 years of experience in clinical settings. I have provided mental health services to individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, including both individuals and couples. I am certified in Trauma Informed Care and ADHD. As a caring and supportive professional, I bring excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and empathy to my work.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As an LCSW, I believe that you and I will work as a team to find the best solutions for you. I am so glad that you have made the hardest step in therapy- seeking help. In the time that I have been practicing, I have had many types of clients with many different issues they wanted to address with my help. I like to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the start of our time together. Our potential goals might include learning to set and maintain boundaries with others, teaching coping skills, and communication skills. I have a client-centered approach, and I believe that you are the expert of you. Some people prefer to work on one topic, and others prefer to address their latest concern. I will strive to work in the manner that best suits your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions look different for each person. Some clients are working on a specific issue for them, and others may be working on several issues. My approach during sessions is geared towards the individuals needs rather than a specific style of therapy.
