Hello, I'm Nancy. Life presents challenges that can be overwhelming without support from a caring mental health therapist. Unresolved traumas, grief, guilt, abuse, negative memories, abandonment, and betrayal can create low self-esteem, unregulated emotions, relationship issues, isolation, and self-sabotage. I am experienced in working with self-harm, suicidal ideation, addictive behavior, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Dissociative Identity Disorder, childhood abuse, and co-dependency. I have often helped clients gain self-compassion, love, respect, clarity, and self-confidence with the understanding it takes time and patience. I offer a warm, non-judgmental, compassionate, and trusting relationship. I am honored by my client's deep trust and respect for me as I have for them. In 2021, I graduated from Adams State University of Alamosa, CO with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. For the past 3 years, I have been working in my individual therapy practice and for the 3 years prior, I worked as a therapist at a counseling center, a short-term residential psychiatric unit, a crisis team, and at a county jail. All of my counseling experiences have been rewarding and educational working with diverse populations. I offer unconditional acceptance, confidentiality, compassion, and safety as a client invites me to share their unique lens of their world.
