What should a new client know about working with you?

Her extensive clinical training includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Janina Fisher’s TIST Model, the Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Model (RITTM), and Systematic Training for Effective Parenting. A Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II, she also holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology focusing on conflict-related trauma from Antioch University and a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology, Integrative Therapy, and Healing Practices from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her doctoral research explores the unconscious dynamics of technology and its impact on identity and connection. Shilloy’s career has encompassed diverse clinical and administrative leadership roles, including serving as Chief Clinical Officer at Reconnect Outpatient Program and Administrator at Passages and The Bella Vita. However, she is now shifting from administrative responsibilities to a more deeply connected clinical role, dedicating her expertise fully to direct client care as the founder of Hummingbird Trauma Focused Services, LLC, and through her ongoing therapeutic work in other settings. Recognized for her expertise, Shilloy has been featured on CNN Health and in Seeking Serenity: The 10 New Rules for Health and Happiness in the Age of Anxiety. Beyond the therapy room, she embraces an active lifestyle, soaking up the sunshine of Southern California. At home, she shares her days with her supportive husband, a spirited blind Frenchie full of personality, and a playful 115-pound Cane Corso puppy who thinks he’s a lap dog. However, her greatest joy comes from cherishing moments with her extended family, including five lively grandchildren who keep her heart full and her spirit young.
