Getting to know Nannette Brannon

I am licensed in Georgia with 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, intimacy-related issues, and motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey. I work with children ages 5 and up, as well as adults, families, and married couples. I also have vast experience in working with teens ages 13 to 18, and the different challenges that they face. I have worked with many different types of people and I know that everyone is of value. I began my career as a teacher, principal, adult instructor, a program director, and an executive director of a nonprofit helping developmentally challenged adults. I went back to school to become a therapist while working as a Community Support provider teaching skills of how to cope with depression, anxiety, and/or mental health issues. I was also the program manager of a day program for adults with mental health issues. I have gone through several challenges in my life. I have two children. I have a birth injury that causes me to walk on crutches. I have also faced grief issues, as both my husband and father died suddenly within a year of each other. I say all of this to convey that I understand the problems that people have. I truly believe that I am answering my life's calling and purpose. I identify as American Indian.
