Naomi Kumar, LMHC

Psychotherapist
WA
I am a compassionate, neuro-affirming therapist dedicated to supporting adults as they navigate the intersection of neurodivergence, chronic health challenges, and systemic burnout. My practice is designed to be a low-pressure, accessible space—whether we are working together in individual therapy or within the intimate, collaborative setting of a peer-support cohort.\n\nI integrate evidence-based approaches including ACT, CBT, and DBT with a strengths-based lens to help you move away from shame and toward sustainable self-advocacy. I am fluent in ASL and spoken English, ensuring that communication is clear, comfortable, and tailored to your unique sensory and processing needs.\n\nMy goal is not to "fix" you, but to help you build a life that truly fits your nervous system. Together, we will dismantle the exhaustion caused by trying to meet neurotypical expectations and instead create authentic, manageable paths forward that honor your body and your brilliant, busy brain. Whether you are dealing with executive dysfunction, chronic pain, or the stress of major life transitions, you will find a partner here who truly understands the weight of your experience.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
