“I find myself feeling anxious when meeting new doctors or therapists. That anxiety comes from my discomfort in chatting with new people and some not-so-great past experiences in the medical field. But from the start of the call, Natalie made me feel comfortable and heard. Her positive energy made it easy to talk honestly about my emotions. I am truly thrilled to have found someone like her, and I look forward to continuing to work with her.”

Getting to know Natalie Dunn

Hi! I'm Natalie, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the Little Rock campus, which I received in 2012. I reside in the DFW area of Texas. I have experience working with individuals across the entire lifespan. My work ranges from general mental illness to severe mental illness, as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of my clients have dealt with depression, anxiety, parenting skills, anger management, and behavior modification concerns. As a therapist, I believe in empathy. Unconditional positive regard is high on my list of priorities when interacting with my clients. I believe that we are all more alike than different. I seek to rid stigmas and do away with labels. We are greater together! Easy dialogue, cognitive behavioral therapy, and talk therapy are typically my approaches. I aim to make therapy and counseling easy peasy! It is rarely easy to admit that we need help. The fact that you are even looking is a huge step. Let's work through your issues together in an effort to restore normality for you! I look forward to meeting you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to feel heard and safe in a judgment - free zone. I seek to make sessions feel, "not so formal," all while helping you to explore real solutions that work. One takes a huge step when deciding to consider therapy as an option and together we will arrive at outcomes that prove that, "Mind Moves Matter!"

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
