Hello, I'm Natalie, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master of Arts in counseling from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, which I completed in 2012. Currently, I reside in the DFW area of Texas, where I have the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients across the entire lifespan. Throughout my career, I've gained extensive experience working with general mental illness, severe mental illness, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of my clients face issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting skills, anger management, and behavior modification concerns. I specialize in adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, ADHD, autism spectrum support, bipolar disorder, children's mental/behavioral health, developmental disabilities, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, multicultural/diversity issues, OCD, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, sleep disorders, learning disorders, stress, and trauma. As a therapist, I believe deeply in the power of empathy and unconditional positive regard. I prioritize creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings. I firmly believe that we are all more alike than different, and I strive to eliminate stigmas and labels that can hinder our growth. My therapeutic approach typically includes easy dialogue, cognitive behavior therapy, and talk therapy, all aimed at making the process of therapy straightforward and accessible.
