Getting to know Natalie Eden

Thriving is not only about surviving but also includes learning how to find meaning in life. Reaching out for help can seem like a big step for many people and I am committed to helping by offering a listening ear and practical guidance through the lens of empathy, genuineness, and compassion in a nonjudgmental setting. As more tenured therapist, I have many years of life experiences, which including working in community clinic settings as well as in private practice. I work with a wide variety of adults from many different life stages, professions, and various faith backgrounds. I am active in helping clients to embrace joy, love, and beauty more fully in relationships and experiences. I also aid clients in developing coping skills and assist in facing life transitions. I utilize various methods and clinical techniques to help clients including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), solution focus therapy, existential, and faith-based type therapies. I have extensive experience in dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, PTSD, phobias, addictions, relationships, and aging. I am fully licensed in the states of Illinois (LCPC), California (LPCC), and Pennsylvania (LPC) with two master’s degrees: one in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and another in business from James Madison University in Virginia. My undergraduate training includes a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from Campbell University in North Carolina. Therapy is an active choice to work on yourself.
