Psychotherapist
TX
Hello, I'm Natalie. I view therapy as a safe place to be who you truly are and share experiences that give you the opportunity for growth, stability, and to develop 'tools' to build a productive, enjoyable life for yourself. I began my career as a marriage and family therapist over 7 years ago, but my journey in mental health spans over 20 years. I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2012. Immediately after, I entered into my graduate program and received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 2015 from Argosy University. My clinical training background focuses on providing strengths-based mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children utilizing the principles of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy complemented with Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I specialize in a variety of areas including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, and anger management. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with couples prior to marriage, marital, family, and relational conflict, parenting and co-parenting, and domestic violence. My approach is rooted in creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. When we work together, you can expect a collaborative process where we focus on your strengths and build upon them. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create a connection that fosters trust and openness. Whether you're dealing with stress, trauma, or navigating complex family dynamics, I'm here to support you every step of the way. I look forward to the possibility of working together and helping you achieve the growth and stability you seek.
