Getting to know Natalie Ha

I am dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and improve their mental health and well-being. With a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary's University, I provide a safe space where clients can explore their concerns, express their emotions, and receive support. I understand that seeking counseling may feel overwhelming or intimidating, but I strive to make the process as comfortable and empowering as possible. I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive, and I am here to help you on that journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I prioritize building a strong therapeutic partnership with my clients based on mutual trust, respect, and open communication. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their past experiences, identify patterns and triggers, and work towards healing and growth. My approach is also trauma-informed, which means that I recognize the impact of trauma on mental health and well-being. I approach clients with sensitivity and understanding around their trauma history, and prioritize their safety and agency throughout the therapeutic process. Overall, my style of therapy is client-centered, strength-based, and holistic. I work with clients to identify their unique strengths, resources, and goals, and collaborate with them to develop strategies for managing symptoms and building resilience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first couple of sessions I am focused on assessing the client's presenting problems, identifying their strengths and challenges, and collaboratively determining the best course of action to achieve their desired outcomes. This may involve discussing specific techniques or interventions, setting achievable goals, and establishing a timeline for progress. Throughout subsequent sessions, we will regularly revisit and adjust the treatment plan as needed. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering therapeutic relationship that helps clients cultivate greater self-awareness, build resilience, and improve their overall well-being.
