Getting to know Natalie Stringham

*Please note that Natalie is NOT a medication provider. She is a mental health therapist* I help individuals navigate the pains they've experienced in their lives and support their healing through the use of ART and EMDR. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Utah State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been perfecting over my career helping people just like you. I have dozens of them. My goal for you is to have different tools and techniques that you can carry with you at all times. So no matter where you go, you'll always have access to discreet exercises that can quickly create relief. We'll incorporate the use of ART and EMDR to help remove the activation associated with your traumas. I have attended trainings that teach leading-edge techniques. We'll address what's going on in your brain when you feel activated and how to get in touch with different parts of your brain to find relief. We'll discuss what happens to your body when fear and emotions take over so you can learn how to quickly calm down. We'll get you to a place of resilience and peace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Together we’ll identify sources of trauma and then use EMDR or ART to help release the pain.
