Natalie Wakeley, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
Welcome! My name is Natalie, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Mercer University. I am experienced in working with clients from all walks of life with varying concerns. My specializations include treating trauma, BPD, bipolar disorder, anger, depression, anxiety, family conflict, life transitions, co-dependency, stress management, and more. I offer both individual and family therapy. DBT, CBT, psychoanalysis, and Internal Family Systems are the modalities I use most. In addition, I incorporate a somatic and holistic approach with each client. A somatic approach focuses not just on your thoughts but also on your body and nervous system to ensure you physically feel safe while we address triggers, symptoms, and goals. A holistic approach means looking at the total picture of your life to make sure we do not just treat symptoms but get to the root cause of things. When you begin working with me, we will determine what success in therapy looks like for you and create a space where you feel comfortable telling your story. As you begin your journey, we always leave room for unexpected new realizations and goals that may emerge through the process. The goal is for you to recognize your strengths, find what works best for you, and implement proven techniques that help you feel better and show up fully in your life. Sessions are casual and relaxed yet focused and goal-oriented.
